I highly recommend Cerri and Companion Dogs. Cerri is in this business because of her love for animals. Her top priority is their wellbeing. She has many years of experience with animals from working at animal sanctuaries, getting certified as an animal rescuer, and partnering with me at Grateful Pups. Having your dogs stay with Cerri will give you peace of mind and your dogs a taste of what it was like to go to summer camp. I have a 3 year old Australian Cattle Mix. To say he's a high energy dog is an understatement. The best part about taking Reshi to Cerri at CD is that he always comes back tired! She has a lovely backyard, completely fenced in with 2 dog accessible indoor options. As well, she has access to a plethora of dog friendly nature walks. She's not only amazing with dogs but she's a certified NY Wildlife rehabilitator, which provides me with a deep sense of peace knowing that if something happened to Reshi, she'd be able to act quickly to help him. She's a wonderful communicator and provides honest and productive feedback. I completely trust Cerri and would recommend them to anyone.

Cerri walks my two largish dogs regularly and is just wonderful. She takes them out with other companionable dogs, and while she emphasizes having fun and exercise she always keeps them safe. I can tell she also incorporates gentle training with them as one of my very strong nosed pups is much more recall responsive than ever before. You can totally trust Cerri to take excellent care of your kids!

Our dog Loki is very lucky to have met a wonderful Irish woman named Cerri. He wasn’t so sure at first because she is “retraining” him after a few years of being spoiled by his human family Kate and Monica Loki previously had some very strict training with Kyle Warren, who moved away a few years ago He also lost his brother and sister, Zeus and Athena -so he became top dog and “ruled the roost” So now Loki is back with a pack and Cerri is doing an amazing job of re-introducing him to Group activities with other active dogs She is firm and gentle, and she is reinforcing the things he learned before - plus introducing some new ideas into his head - and motivating us to continue his training! Cerri has an incredible way with animals (and their humans). My boy Finn and I are both on the anxious side and Cerri has always put us both at ease. She is thoughtful and extremely careful with each animal she works with but she also knows how to have fun and let the animals do the same. Finn is a happier and healthier guy for knowing her “I was introduced to Cerri about 6 months into owning my boy Finn. He was adjusting to losing his mom of 10 yrs and needed a lot of TLC. Cerri has been taking care of Lola, our 10 month old Golden Retriever puppy, since September 2023 and we couldn't be happier!
